Might have to investigate how to jerry-rig the kettle BBQ. I think I've seen that done. It's all good, though.kamohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10785763841038321633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-596203844533164378.post-24131945400065018052013-07-13T08:38:10.398+09:002013-07-13T08:38:10.398+09:00Could do with it being slightly cooler, to be hone...Could do with it being slightly cooler, to be honest. Still, the way the garden's aligned the obvious BBQ area starts catching the shade at about 3pm, so we're all set for evenings. Shame they don't last so long.

Let us know what your mother makes of it all ;)kamohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10785763841038321633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-596203844533164378.post-69327012447180311552013-07-10T02:39:29.458+09:002013-07-10T02:39:29.458+09:00The wife no longer lets me roast a whole chicken u...The wife no longer lets me roast a whole chicken unless I make jerk. I haven't done this on the grill as much, but there might be some jerked leg quarters going into the smoker in the near future.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-596203844533164378.post-3370758367717267672013-07-08T21:46:02.254+09:002013-07-08T21:46:02.254+09:00Jerk sauce... awesome! Totally love the continuous barbecue weather summer rewards everyone with as it's way of maybe trying to apologize for rainy season.

Not sure I recall my mother ever barbecuing anything or drinking beer 'cept maybe once. Still, think she might like the recipe. Might ask her what she thinks.

Fine recipes, like music, are another good way culture gets passed around. You can use it with anything you like really. Works quite well with pork too, I find.

"Where is the rest of the chicken...?"

I would like an answer to this wrt cows. Where's the rest of the fucking cow? All they have in the shops are the best, most expensive cuts and all I want is some oxtail or shank to stick in a stew.kamohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10785763841038321633noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-596203844533164378.post-3664810152031896592013-07-08T01:23:26.114+09:002013-07-08T01:23:26.114+09:00Finally... In Japan I have seen every kind of chicken cooked with legs. Where is the rest of the chicken parts in Japan ;)

Looks great...feel hungry now :)Chrishttp://badboyinjapan.blogspot.jp/noreply@blogger.com
