There is so much Japanese in that shot: - amusing punctuation - unwanted and infantilizing advice - an assumption that the appropriate appliance is unavailable - a make-do solution presented as a norm - diminutive food...
I'm on board with all but the last of those. Perhaps I should have included something to indicate scale. My wife likes fish on her pizza, which is one of the few marks in her 'minus' column, so one M, one L, and some onion rings actually works out fairly well for us.
I'm actually OK with the diminutive food. It's nice to be able to order a small coffee and not have to lug around an entire gallon of rapidly cooling piss-in-waiting.
Pretty good in that it means almost but not quite exactly the opposite of what it's meant to? I guess that 'almost but not quite' is the saving grace. It's all relative...

I was not their adviser ...swear to God!! ;)
ReplyDeleteThat's actually pretty good compared to the hybrid barely legible gibberish at the local city hall.

DeleteSilence of Lambs'ish...
Delete"It leaves the umbrella nears the doors" or something that .....made me laugh and puke in my mouth at the same time.
And there goes my breakfast all over the computer screen. God, that's truly beautiful :)
DeletePunctuation, matters... yeah. Looks like it could have used a few olives. Not like you hadn't already noticed that.
ReplyDeleteGotta have olives on a pizza. In fact, I can think of few things that wouldn't be improved by the addition of olives.
