The Lesser of Two Evils

Pecan and Maple Syrup, so a vaguely North American vibe to this one. While this is not something of which I'd usually approve, my wife really liked it so might go for something other than coffee and bloody walnut next time I ask her to choose what she wants. Not massively important in the grand scheme of things, I agree, but marriages have foundered on less. It's the little things, eh?

  1. Looks like it'd go quite well with a cup of coffee in the afternoon...

  2. An odd combination, though not the flavours I am sure. Maple syrup: Québec or Maine. Pecan: puts me in mind of the knuckle-dragging South. I require maple syrup for my pancakes, waffles or french toast, though can't say I use it for anything else, Canadian though I am.

    1. Heh. This is clearly what passes for 'fusion cuisine' in Middle England.

    1. Yeah, I've been missing them too. Kind of hard to muster up the will to bake when you're hacking up a lung, but hopefully I/we are over that now. Hopefully...
